Savory Stuffed Bell Peppers

A delicious and comforting dish featuring bell peppers stuffed with a flavorful mixture of protein and vegetables.

Ingredients:


  • 4 large bell peppers, any color
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheese

Cooking Instructions


  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds and membranes.
  3. In a skillet, cook the ground beef until browned. Add the diced onion and garlic, cooking until softened.
  4. Stir in the cooked rice, diced tomatoes, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for a few more minutes.
  5. Spoon the beef mixture into the bell peppers and place them in a baking dish.
  6. Top each stuffed pepper with shredded cheese.
  7. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  8. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  9. Serve hot and enjoy!
